Brand design by Daniel

Brands made simple.

Logos, brand kits and websites, designed by hand and finished with care.

Brands, built simply.

Process

Made by hand, then finished with care.

Six steps, one path. Follow it, or jump to any stop.

01 · Words

It starts with words.

Before any shape, I ask what the company should feel like. A handful of honest words become the brief every later decision is checked against.

02 · Research

Then I look around.

I study brands with a similar feel. What they do well, what feels borrowed, and where there is room to be different.

Loves: the quiet palette
Oak & Rye Calm · established
Loves: the soft arch
Lumen Clear · modern
Loves: one clear shape

03 · Sketch

Paper comes first.

Logos get drawn by hand, dozens of them. The best ideas are usually the simplest ones, and they show up on paper before they show up on a screen.

04 · Digital design

Then it gets precise.

The strongest sketches are rebuilt on screen with exact geometry. Curves, gaps and corners are drawn on purpose, not by accident.

05 · Finish

Then I finish the files.

The final marks get cleaned up and exported in every format a brand needs: color, reversed, one-color and app icon.

06 · System

Then it becomes a brand.

Colors, typefaces and one clear message. A tagline only if the brand needs one.

About

Hi, I'm Daniel.

I'm a brand designer who builds identities by hand first and by machine second.

I care about the quiet details: a curve drawn on purpose, a gap that earns its place, a color used once instead of everywhere. Every brand I make starts as words and pencil sketches, and it gets rebuilt carefully before it gets finished.

You can see the whole process above. It is the same every time: words first, then paper, then precise geometry.

  • By hand first. Paper before pixels.
  • Words before shapes. The brief comes from you.
  • One clear idea. Then I stop.
